Förderverein Gartenstadtsiedlung "Am Schmalen Rain" e.V.

We are committed and strive to maintain the cooperatively run settlement, promote the living environment, art and culture and support the cohesion of the residents.

On September 10, 2008, 14 residents founded the support association. To date, our club has grown to 46 members across generations. We are residents, friends and supporters who have accompanied, organized and shaped the club's life for over 10 years.

We organize and carry out family celebrations, morning pints, Christmas markets, annual Subbotniks and various smaller cultural activities. We are also doing our part to ensure that the garden city settlement “Am Schmalen Rain” is brought to the attention of residents in the city of Gotha and beyond.

The association is also actively involved in the design of the “Kulturscheune”, as a meeting place for the residents of the non-profit housing cooperative of Eisenbahner eG, with manpower and financial support.
