The garden city of Nuremberg is a modern and socially oriented housing cooperative in the Nuremberg metropolitan region. It manages approx. 2,500 own apartments. Our members enjoy safe housing at fair usage fees. For more than 110 years, we have been taking responsibility for the sustainable development of our residential districts in the sense of the cooperative idea and are committed to the cooperative idea. We also support our members through our own savings facility.

The Gartenstadt Nürnberg eG was founded in 1908 and is one of the few settlements in Germany that has consistently implemented the basic idea of the garden city movement. As a jewel on the outskirts of Nuremberg, it is therefore quite rightly under ensemble protection. Here our members live well and safely in a green environment. In this more than 110-year history, we continuously modernised this historic rental portfolio and supplemented it with new buildings.
