The purpose of the Wekerlie Association is to promote the XIX district of Wekerle, to promoting the preservation and enhancement of the local historical, settlement structure and architectural and natural values ​​of the Wekerle district; strengthening the better local well-being of its residents, their greater interest in public affairs, and their local patriotism; contribution to the improvement of the order and cleanliness of the district, beautification, construction, environmental management and traffic rehabilitation of the Wekerletelep; involving the population in the discussion and implementation of development ideas and plans; to this end, the creation and operation of community facilities by combining individual and social forces; also initiating and organizing social actions to strengthen friendships, good neighbourly relationships and social life; the search and care of the literary, artistic and sports memories of the traditions; organization of such and other community programs.
