Betondorpmuseum (zaterdag-zondag)
What could be better than having your own museum when you turn 100?
Together with the magazine Ons Amsterdam and the borough Oost, we were able to realise this pop-up museum for 100 years of Betondorp because many residents are proud of their village, there is a great sense of history with a lot of Amsterdam DNA and also knowledge about and of their own neighbourhood.
For Harkstraat, we chose to highlight Betondorp's socialist past in addition to stories and memories of residents. The socialist roots of "the red village" are highlighted and how they have determined the course of Betondorp's history.
This exhibition will be on show from 8 September 2023 until 1 May 2024, Saturday to Sunday from 12.00-16.00 and by appointment. It is also possible to book one of the walking tours.
