Description
We are an emerging design practice with foundations that rests on a breadth of industry experience and knowledge. Our collective experience lies at the intersection of master-planning, urban design, architecture and social sciences. We seek out organisations that are committed to driving meaningful change for a better collective future.
We aim to create and co-ordinate designs and implementation strategies, at all scales from masterplan to details of buildings and outdoor spaces, that support the health and well-being of their current users whilst maintaining the capacity of ecosystem services to support future generations.
Winner of the RIBA Re-imagining the Garden City
We have worked with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) on a design ideas competition called, ‘Re-Imagining the Garden City’.
This design ideas competition brief was to discover new design approaches for a modern garden city to meet the needs of the 21st century, whilst recapturing the pioneering spirit that led to the development of the world’s first garden city at Letchworth Garden City. We hope that this will help shift the debate more towards place making as part of the discussion concerning major new housing development and new settlements.
On 7th June 2019, The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation announced that we were the winner of the Re-Imagining the Garden City Design Ideas Competition, with our Grange in the Hedges design.
