In 1920 the association of the Fritz-Schumacher-Siedlung Langenhorn eV was founded, originally representing the interests of the tenants towards the landlord. Since the founding of the cooperative in 1989, the "settler community" has lost this meaning and is only concerned with living together in the settlement.
