The Town and Country Planning Association (TCPA) was founded in 1899 by Sir Ebenezer Howard. It founded the first Garden Cities in Letchworth and Welwyn and successfully secured the first planning legislation in 1909. Its flagship publication is The Town & Country Planning Journal, which is published bi-monthly. The whole archive, from the very first issue from October 1904, is available online.
